Is it okay to be overprotective to the kids?
To be protected is lucky, but to be 'over' protected is kind of terrifying sometimes. Being protected by parents is a way from parents to prove of love to their children so that their children won't get hurt and be in danger.
It's so normal that parents be carefull to their children that means more than anything for them. But, parents nowadays get obssesed over watching or being near their children 24/7.
Not eating sweets, be with their parents/nanny whenever and wherever they are, not playing on friend's house on their own are their rules since there are lot of crimes out there. But then again...
DO CHILDREN GROW UP WITH SOME SORTS OF FREEDOM?
LITERALLY NOT MANY OF THEM DO. i would tend to say kids should be allowed to have a freedom to play, and explore what they like and what they're curious about without parents watching them at all times. It will impact their personality, i mean on how they behave, their creativity and their responsiblity and the way they solve problems on their own so that they won't be such spoiled people who rely everything on their parents. They'll have a lot of experiences, whether its a good, challenging, sad or might be broken, those unforgettable moments are things that they'd remember all of their life and make it as a lesson to be better people. Independent and people who can stand on their own. Parents should know the difference between torturing or saving their kids.
If parents limitting their children to take risks, their children grow up as loosers.
If parents always help their children to do their homework, their children won't get smarter.
If parents bring their children food, their childen can't learn how to save money and buying snack like other does. See? Parents intentions are actually good but the impact isn't really good to their children.
Just let them be grown up people.
As the alternative way instead of being over protective, which is tiring for children.
Give your children FAIR RULES and your TRUST.. Trust is what really
matters, Therefore they could try to keep and appreciate your trust, be a
good human being and even be useful for their parents and people.
